The Victoria Advocate, a member of the M. Roberts Media family of newspapers, is seeking a self motivated, success driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our team.
As an Advertising Sales Representative you will be providing superior customer service and promoting the Victoria Advocate’s advertising services while maintaining our revenue goals. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record of:
- Developing recurring and new business from active and non-active advertising prospects.
- Selling advertising with the additional opportunity to sell the entire suite of print products and digital products that are offered with print packages.
- Meeting and exceeding revenue goals

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to connect with a wide variety of personalities. We need an Advertising Sales Representative who can help an advertiser think outside the box to see how their business will benefit from an association with the paper and its audience; a strategic thinker who can also meet deadlines.
Prior experience in a similar job is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and auto insurance are required. Candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
