Job description: POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Project Advisor is responsible for leading cross-functional projects that are in support of key initiatives that typically include work process productivity improvements, margin improvements, change management, and product or system changes. Partners with business leadership to provide support for project initiation and execution that ensures value realization from original concept through final implementation. Establishes a project team, sets project schedule, estimates project resource plans, and maintains status reports for all business resources and end users. The Advisor is expected to influence the outcome and delivery of project efforts as it relates to timeline. Identifies, analyzes, and tracks project issues and risks as well as remove barriers to success.

Essential Functions

  • Manage multiple projects with cross functional teams.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and develop full scale project plans.
  • Assemble, coordinate, and provide direction and support to the project team.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Objectively plan and execute project kickoff to launch the project.
  • Develop the risk management plan which includes risk identification, risk mitigation planning, execution and tracking, escalates risks when needed.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor and report on the progress, problems and solutions of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and report on assessment of results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 4-6 years relevant project management experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional Certification) preferred.
  • Proficient to Intermediate MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with partners in various functional areas and at all levels of management.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid leadership skills, demonstrated ability to lead, oversee and motivate cross functional teams in a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated self-initiative and ability to deliver against aggressive goals.
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry a plus.

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $79,700 – $132,800, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
