Job description: Job Summary:
Accounting Internship provides a unique opportunity to gain real world experience with a company that produces festival and live events.
This is a paid, in-person internship reporting to the Sr Accounting Manager. Applicants should be in the Austin area during employment to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Enters data
- Maintains accounting files
- Makes bank deposits and runs other accounting errands
- Prepares and records journal entries.
- Sorts mail
- Performs accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Audits reports and billing statements
- Researches vendor inquiries
- Other duties, projects and events as assigned

- Learn about daily accounting tasks and activities; integrate theory and practice
- Assess interests and abilities in accounting
- Develop work habits and attitudes necessary for job success

Qualifications:
- Able to work 20 hours per week
- Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
