Job Description
U.S. Bank is hiring for a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager to cover clients in the Los Angeles market. The ideal candidate will join with established relationships. He/she will then be responsible for maintaining, growing, and expanding a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. The chosen individual will also solicit, develop, and service a wide variety of real estate commercial loans. This will be accomplished through growing revenue as directed by senior management.
Job Function & Responsibilities
- Responsible for large and complex real estate loans including real estate investments, income property, development, construction loans, etc.
- Demonstrates first-class customer care with the ability to manage clients, credit, and the internal underwriting team
- Acts as a financial advisor to clients
- Oversees the credit approval process
- Manages portfolio credit quality
- Exemplifies a strong underwriting background
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field
- 5 or more years of Commercial Real Estate experience
- 2 or more years of management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Considerable knowledge and experience in handling and increasing a sizable and challenging portfolio of commercial real estate loans
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills
- Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of credit and credit quality
- Thorough knowledge of bank products and services
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
