The Creative Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the creative vision of our brands within the Alternative Channels through our advertising campaigns, brand messaging, in-store packaging and POP assets and digital content and experience. The Creative Marketing Manager develops and executes strategies that enhance the customer experience end to end. This role will lead a growing team of graphic and digital designers, external agency relationships and contractors in developing packaging, digital assets, sales enablement tools and all other brand experience needs. Working closely with the Brand Marketing Teams and Channel Marketing Team will align on goals, budgets and timelines, owning the outcome of all creative retail efforts and their implementation in partnership with the Channel Customer Marketing team. The Creative Marketing Manager gathers insights to inform the development of the best content and experiences to represent Tempur Sealy brands in an omnichannel environment.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of creative designers and external agencies in support of the Channel.
- Leads creative strategy aligned to marketing initiatives, product launches, retail activations, POP, tradeshows and other communications.
- Responsible for the strategy development for all go-to-market content, channel specific assets and retail/digital brand activations for the Channel.
- Drive contiuous improvement of the creative process and its’ alignment to the consumer journey and store, digital experience.
- Oversee photography creative with graphic designers and agencies for photoshoots and all creative development.
- Works cross functionally with Tempur Sealy Brand Team to maintain and adhere to internal brand guidelines to ensure memorable and on-brand content and packaging.
- Hires and manages external agency partners and contractors to support brand and creative development needs.
- Reviews brand performance metrics and other key insights to inform future retail brand creative strategies.
- Prepares impactful recommendations to Channel Leadership on ways to improve process, operational efficiencies and cross functional engagement to drive Launch Excellence for omnichannel activations.
- Represent the Marketing Team in all Project Teams. Manage marketing projects as a part of broader product launches.
- Enable business with great content, processes, sales tools and assets to drive the business

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Possesses These Attributes:
- Proven knowledge of strategic marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to deliver dynamic brand experiences.
- Proven creative design experience working on national brands, preferably premium brands
- 5+ years experience leading a team and working with external design agencies
- Highly experienced working with photography and video productions developing creative assets, as well as, retail packaging companies.
- Working knowledge of UX and UI design strongly preferred
- Organized and detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
- A passionate ambassador for the brand with the ability to convey the corporate/channel message (vision and strategy) convincingly to the customer
- Unwavering personal integrity and ability to build relationships based on trust and respect
- Ability to listen and desire to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Organized, good communication skills both orally and in writing
- Personally dynamic with a strong work ethic

Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years experience in consumer products environment required.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Fast paced corporate office environment. Some stress may occur. Travel is expected in this postion as needed for customer meetings, team meetings and trade shows.
