The Creative Operations Manager plays a critical role in making our in-house creative teams work efficiently and effectively. The ideal person for this role will possess an extensive and varied “tool kit” to help get creative work done across both Brand and Growth Creative teams. This role will stretch across two main initiatives – first, establishing, implementing and maintaining processes and tools that enable best-in-class creative work, and second, being the creative ops lead for the internal Growth creative team.

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver, multi-tasker, bridge builder and has an analytical way of thinking. This role will require someone who can not only manage projects, vendors and budgets, but can also help us collect and analyze data to determine what changes to make to better serve the creative team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the Creative Director, Head of Production & Creative Ops and other project managers to identify and implement best creative operations practices and help prioritize projects
  • Collaborate with Creative Ops, IT and outside vendors to continuously seek out and implement ideal technical or organizational tools and solutions that assist the Creative team in development, post and delivery of assets
  • Ensure Project Management has the tools and capabilities to effectively align Channel partners in “brief once and begin” to reduce scope creep and streamline delivery
  • Partner with Creative and Production Leadership to establish our prioritization and resourcing methodologies
  • Develop and manage ongoing training and education opportunities for creative team members on file management, and training on tools such as the DAM, Lytho, etc.
  • Partner with IT, Growth and Creative to create rigor and discipline on file naming, taxonomy and standardization
  • Lead on DAM and Project Management software implementation, documentation and maintenance and be the point of contact for our software and tool vendorsLead on creative team data collection and reporting and be highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, project management softwares and Tableau
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Growth and the Media Studio leaders to continually refine and optimize the framework and overarching process for the Growth Creative organization
  • Ensure external agencies and freelance resources are working with one cohesive, documented process in order to enable work getting done in a timely, transparent and effective manner
  • Partner with Growth leads to identify prioritized briefs and lead on planning and resourcing against those briefs
  • Help source freelancers as needed
  • Onboard new creative contributors / team members
  • Manage budget for Growth creative work streams
  • Facilitate creative approvals through medical and legal

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing multi-project programs that include video, print, digital and design
  • Keen understanding of what makes Creative talent tick
  • Flexible & data driven approach to optimizing Creative output utilizing a combination of software tools and reporting
  • Experience managing the end-to-end process for all facets of integrated campaigns inclusive of production or development. Familiarity with growth marketing creative strategy and workflows a plus
  • Experience working with multiple creative agencies & talent
  • Backgrounds that span both Client-side Marketing departments and creative agencies are a plus
  • Experience managing and partnering with external, third-party vendors
  • Experience collecting data and identifying and explaining trends
  • Proven organizational skills and meticulous attention-to-detail
  • High proficiency with general project management principles, methods, and tools, including Google Sheets, Excel, DAMs, and Tableau
  • High proficiency with project planning, budget development, and reporting
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively with limited management oversight
  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively and professionally
  • Outcomes-driven / results-focused

Characteristics of Work Environment:

  • Standard business hours M-F and available as needed on weekends
  • Work from home setting using company-provided laptop
  • No travel requirements
