The Role
Fidelity Labs is looking for a Database Engineer to join a newly founded startup. As a key member of a small and growing engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the technology, architecture and dev ops infrastructure of world class end-to-end systems.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Proficient level knowledge in various relational and non-relational database technologies, ideally PostgreSQL.
Hands on working with SQL, PL/SQL for structured and non-structured data, and SQL & ORM Query optimization and tuning.
Familiarity with implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment.
Bonus points for working knowledge of Cloud Databases especially Azure Managed Databases such as Postgres and for analyzing big data to build reporting using PowerBI and/or Tableau.
You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
Learning, adapting and adopting new concepts & technologies quickly and implementing them optimally.
You build positive relationships with other team members and have excellent verbal and written communication.
