The Digital Banking Specialist will provide enthusiastic and responsive customer service on all electronic banking products, including online banking enrollment, online bill paying services and mobile banking services. You will respond to a high volume of requests for assistance via phone or email with outstanding customer services skills. Job Duties:

  • Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Perform customer setup for online banking, mobile banking, bill pay and cash management products.
  • Verbally navigate customers through the internet banking site.
  • Analyze and resolve problems quickly while communicating effectively and documenting responses.
  • Provide remarkable customer service by handling inbound and outbound customer service calls and offering problem solution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-line and mobile banking issues with emphasis on customer service.
  • Perform data entry and other tasks required for the administration and processing of online banking transactions and the maintenance of online account records.
  • Second-day review of online banking audit and change reports.
  • Must be comfortable in a changing environment and master new products and services quickly.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, department procedures and policies, and regulations to ensure accurate handling of client inquiries.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through cross-selling and up-selling of bank products to maximize retention and income generation.
  • Control losses by following policies and procedures.
  • Analyze fraud reports and assists in detecting possible fraud and reacts accordingly. Must be a critical thinker and able to foresee and evaluate possible consequences of actions.
  • Assist in the coordination and support of audits and examinations.
  • Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection
  • Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures
  • Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Good written and oral communication skills are a must.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe, Internet and Website navigation.
  • Strong knowledge of the technical functions of self-service banking, mobile banking, and internet banking preferred.

Education, Experience & Licenses:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in finance, business or other directly related field preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months customer service & banking experience required.
