The Director of Channel Marketing leads the team that is responsible for achieving significant influence/impact in revenue generating performance and works synergistically interdepartmentally to ensure proper alignment on marketing programs and initiatives. This role will partner closely with sales developing targeted campaigns specific to revenue opportunities.

The ideal individual in this role will have strong communication and organizations skills and has the ability to lead a team with coordinating marketing events, developing campaigns, and launching/supporting marketing programs across the organization.

The Director of Channel Marketing reports directly into the Head of Marketing.

Essential Functions:

  • Evaluate and improve existing channel marketing strategies.
  • Develop and define new channel marketing strategies and implementing marketing plans.
  • Target specific channels to promote products and services and identifying when to utilize paid social media, organic social media, email, SEO strategies, landing pages, etc…
  • Develop and define budget allocation for each campaign.
  • Work with marketing department to set growth and performance benchmarks, and establish analytics and dashboards for key performance criteria, maintaining reports and tracking efficiency of various campaigns.
  • Responsible for reporting on ROI for marketing programs and activities and make adjustments to campaigns based on data making the shift to a results driven team.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
  • Partnering closely with sales to understand where our opportunities are in the sales cycle and how to effectively move them strategically through the funnel.
  • Deploy channel marketing strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales product management and executive team.
  • Work closely with Director of Content and Comms on all marketing campaign communications.
  • Manage all North American marketing events and oversees the overall planning and strategy for live or virtual meetings and events.
  • Develop and continue to build out Channel Marketing Vertical including partnership marketing program, ABM strategy and client success program.


  • 10 or more years of marketing channel experience at an innovative company; insurance, financial services or B2B technology industry experience helpful but not required.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices.
  • Proven managerial experience leading a team.
  • Established track record of developing and executing marketing campaigns with attractive ROI.
  • Project management skills with high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments.
  • Experience and comfort collaboration with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, responsive ability to think strategically, but also wiling to dig into the details and tactics.
  • Ability to analytically think and problem solve.
  • Ability to construct and deliver cohesive structured presentations with content tailored to appropriate audience.
  • Can transition seamlessly among products of varying scale, audience, format and distribution channel.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in marketing or a related field preferred.

Preferred Software Experience: Marketing Automation Platform, Salesforce, Social Media, Email Marketing, Marketing Databases, Microsoft Office Suite
