Position: Director of Information Technology

Miranda Construction, LLC, an established general contractor in Louisville, KY, has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Information Technology that will direct and perform technical analysis, support, process improvement, documentation, training, systems, and equipment troubleshooting for all the technical operations within the company.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee all technology operations
  • Network security and infrastructure
  • Installed systems – maintenance and support [ERP, CRM, Intranet, etc.]
  • Management of hardware/software
  • Establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
  • Develop relationships with key management
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
  • Provide updates on advances in the IT field and how they may apply to the business
  • Maintain company hardware and software programs
  • Update technological equipment in the company
  • Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach on new features
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their IT requirements, needs and preferences and install systems accordingly
  • Provides front line one-on-one technical support for computer hardware and software applications.
  • Performs new computer setups, refreshes computers, and manage accounts using AD and other software programs.
  • Recommends changes or updates in programming, documentation, and training to address system deficiencies and user needs.
  • Develops and assist in maintaining required technical documentation or required processes and procedures.
  • Assists with developing annual IT budget

Requirements Include:

  • Associates Degree / Technical Training / Technical Certifications and/or 5 years relevant work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hands-on technical role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a company wide support role managing daily requests.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Windows operating systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Office 365.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Procore and Sage 300

  • Understanding of Procore and Sage Software.

Computer Skills:

Experience with Windows 7, 8, 10, Active Directory and MSFT Office 365. Troubleshooting will be required for systems and computer components, hardware, and software. Ability to recover or repair system without losing data. Experience with Mac OS 10.X, Android, and iOS mobile phones. Network topography and basic understanding is required. Must be able to work within multiple software systems to perform daily tasks given by direct manager or case management systems
