Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing Communications has the critical role of taking existing messaging and amplifying it through all our different channels. You will lead and oversee the team that is responsible for all outbound marketing communications including press, social, resellers/distributors, reviewers, and influencers as well as coordinating with our Web Operations team to create engaging public facing material like videos, white papers, testimonials, and blog posts. You and your team will be responsible for events and tradeshows, ensuring we provide the best foot forward with our booth and in creating an aggressive media schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage outgoing communications with resellers/distributors including, but not limited to:
- New product introductions.
- Channel incentive programs.
- Lead generation activities.
- Training.
- Email blasts.
- Oversee and coordinate new relationships and engage with new and existing reviewers on:
- New product introductions and review or preview opportunities in the Mac, Windows, M&E, Audio and Corporate spaces,
- Roundup or shootout opportunities for all products.
- Content calendar focus areas like Dads and Grads, Holiday shopping, etc.
- Oversee and coordinate new relationships and engage with new and existing influencers on:
- New product introductions and review or preview opportunities in the Mac, Windows, M&E, Audio and Corporate spaces.
- Opportunities for workflow studies, testimonials, etc.
- Other opportunities that align with the specific influencer and their audience base.
- Oversee and coordinate new relationships and engage with existing press contacts on:
- New product introductions and review or preview opportunities in the Mac, Windows, M&E, Audio and Corporate spaces.
- Advertising opportunities in targeted publications and sites.
- Connecting press with internal subject matter experts and arranging interview opportunities.
- Coordinate and drive with Sales team to provide various support and requested collateral for the sales process and make sure leads generated from activities are handed off.
- Share product feedback from any partners or customers with Product Development and Engineering.
- Design and implement measurements to quantify ROI from the different channel marketing programs, and ensure receipt of agreed upon collateral and deliverables.
- Manage external PR partners.
- Work closely with marketing communications, web teams, and product marketing on development and production of partner enablement tools and other campaign related collateral.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Develop and execute long-term outbound marketing strategies and roadmaps to drive fast-paced, ongoing growth to achieve our monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Lead and develop the outbound marketing team to help each member shine in their role and maximize their potential
- Analyze account data from all stages of our outbound funnels, to optimize for revenue generation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the company, and external agencies and vendors to execute key marketing strategies and tactics.
- Use data to constantly analyze, diagnose, and measure performance against expectations.
- Make data-driven recommendations to heighten campaign success; suggest and implement additional strategies to assist sales in creating more opportunities.
- Communicate frequently and clearly with team and solicit feedback if necessary.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- 8+ years of Channel Marketing experience.
- 5+ years of marketing communications experience.
- Advanced computer skills.
