Job description: DPHR is hiring an HR Assistant/Receptionist!

The HR Administrative Assistant will be responsible for general office duties, event planning and administration, project management and organization, and standard office administration. There’ s room to grow at one of the leading manufacturers in the Statesville area!

General Office Responsibilities:

  • Ordering coffee supplies
  • Maintaining plants
  • Stocking/organizing supply room
  • Etc.

Event Administration:

  • Looking for someone who likes to plan events! (Lots!)
  • Catering coordination
  • Writing basic communication and preparing PowerPoints for event communication.
  • Scheduling birthdays/in-house events.


  • Ability to schedule, design communication, reserve rooms and items (such as tents and speakers for outdoor events)
  • Ability to schedule interviews, shifts/employees, social events, and training events.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic project management skills
  • Some analytical abilities (look at data to resolve problems or schedule decisions)
  • Post PowerPoints on Monitors, bulletin boards, etc.
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outlook/Teams
  • Share Point

Administrative Duties

  • Filing
  • Printing
  • Collating
  • Some letter writing
  • Preparing Social Calendar for communication (design and post)
  • Bulletin Board Postings
  • Posting corporate posters
  • Meeting room management
  • Badges
  • I9s
  • General HR Admin support as needed
  • Ordering HR supplies
  • Manage reception desk
  • Expenses/HR Budget tracking
