This position is part of the Revised Cart C (RCC) Manual Consumables department and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work very closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor in a specific line which is RCC Manual. Also work with Supervisors and others from support departments to meet production schedules, goals and objectives.
Complete production plan by accomplishing work; monitoring and auditing progress; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Work with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to investigate and resolve any quality or non-conformance issues. Initiate and report production related NCR’s.
The essential requirements of the job include:
HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience and experience to perform at this level.
1 to 3 years in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment; 1 year minimum in a leadership role.
Proficiency of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Excel) and ERP/MES or similar system
Physical requirements of the job include:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
Must be able to stand for up to 2 hours continuously
Must have good vision with or without corrective lenses
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in clean room assembly or Manufacturing in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
