Allred Collaborative is a fast-growing lifestyle brand in the retail and wholesale commercial, hospitality and home furnishing industry. We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to assist our Supply Chain Manager in facilitating communication between sales, production and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient ever growing foreign and domestic supply chain.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire lifecycle of our inventory and orders, from order placement with our entire vendor supply chain to final product distribution.

A successful candidate should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in oversight for all supply chain operations
  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders and shipping documents through the approval process to ensure accuracy
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels regarding logistics
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors
  • Preparing bills and invoices
  • Managing distribution and shipment budgets
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

Work Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Education, Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination required
  • 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience preferred
  • Prior global shipping management/customs clearance experience is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Good management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
