Would you love to make impact on life as a Manufacturing Value Stream Manager? You will own the achievement of daily, monthly and yearly operational objectives for defined areas of responsibility within a Value Stream in the Radiometer Carlsbad, California site. Have direct responsibility for the production operations on the shift, within a fast paced, high growth environment! Be responsible for daily results in-line with established yearly improvement goals in the critical important metric areas of Safety, Quality (internal & external), Delivery, Inventory Accuracy and Productivity for your Value Stream(s).

Responsibilities

Support long-term plans and objectives to meet future manufacturing requirements; including specific capital deployment projects to support growth, risk mitigation and cost savings initiatives

Build a Winning Team. Perform supervisory activities including recruitment and selection, training and development, coaching and administering performance and salary review process for direct reports. Make recommendations for direct labor staffing requirements in accordance with capacity models for current and future KPI success.

Act as a change agent to implement a constant state of improvement by “doing things differently”

Lead in developing well-functioning cross-departmental relationships and teams for the achievement of the business’s prioritized objectives

Achieve yearly Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity targets through effective and efficient Daily Management and KPI action plan development and execution leadership

Promote and lead the utilization of DBS tools & lean concepts to improve manufacturability, productivity, yields, cost, process variation and customer quality

Develop and implement manufacturing procedures and methods to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, Canadian Medical Regulations and QA/QC medical, state and local regulatory agencies

Lead the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by eliminating hazards, training employees, and promoting safety awareness. Continually upgrade, direct, comply with, and enforce Company safety programs and policies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations / Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent

5+ years manufacturing or production experience

Previous “front line” manufacturing production supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with applying lean methodology and tools to improve operations and overall business processes

Effective visual daily management and demonstrated process improvement experience

Experience with Supply Chain planning
