Responsibilities

As a Program Specialist for Medical & Professional Education you will, provide strategic support in the development and continuous innovation of Hazelden Betty Ford medical education immersion programming. The Program Specialist has focused responsibilities in the development of standardized programming, and directly facilitates in planning, coordination, and conducting on-campus and virtual HBFF Medical Education Programming for healthcare professionals, medical students, and other healthcare-related students/professional. The Program Specialist focuses efforts on standardization of programming, participant management of registration, logistical management, and facilitation of programming.

  • Provide strategic support for the development and evolution of standardized of models of immersion programming for medical and professional education
  • Facilitate the Delivery of Professional & Medical Education programs
  • Execute on standard models of programming for the medical and professional education trainings.
  • Steward resources in order to achieve budget expectations. Administer revenue functions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree plus four years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related work experience in healthcare or education/training
  • Computer skills including Microsoft products, Office 365
  • Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalis
  • Self-directed and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate flexibility, prioritization, teamwork and multi-tasking skills to accommodate varying program’s needs
  • Practice independent judgment to solve problems and make decision
  • Show strong professional communication, customer service, and presentation skills
  • Take initiative and make suggestions for program improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HBFF programs, addiction, treatment and recovery
  • Three-five years of experience in professional training/education
  • Computer skills including Microsoft products, Office 365, Word MS, Alchemer, Salesforce, Populi, Oracle
