Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a support role for our Cabinet Designers. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

  • Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell and specify cabinets and a range of other products, which may include lighting, appliances, and high end fixtures
  • Drawing 2020 designs, making design revisions, and create stacked molding detail drawings
  • Create PDF’s & final package sign off, prices & estimates for designs
  • Review appliance specs, cut outs, built-ins etc. when applicable; hardware drawings & location specifications
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information
  • Prepare job quotations and submittals
  • Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but prior experience in sales within our industry will be considered. A successful Cabinet Designer coordinator will possess the following:
  • 2 to 4 years industry experience
  • Knowledge of 20/20
  • House call and interior installation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Extensive cabinetry product knowledge
  • Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
