SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), SHIFT: Days.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Quality Manager and according to general policies and procedures, the Quality Management Coordinator facilitates performance improvement activities for medical staff and hospital departments and is responsible for the computer applications and data management functions for the Quality Department.

Qualifications

Education: B.A. / B.S. preferred

License/Certifications: Current CA RN license or other healthcare license preferred. CPHQ certification preferred.

Experience: 3 years current experience in quality, risk management or related clinical experience within the acute care hospitals setting required.

Working knowledge of computer operations such as spreadsheets, database management and word processing required.

Experience with clinical data management systems such as Meditech, HBOC, etc. preferred or must have ability to be trained within 90 days.
