The Revenue Supervisor – Hybrid Remote (office and home) will report to the Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager. This position will be responsible for assisting in the revenue and receivable cycles, end of month process, AR Reserves, revenue accruals, key internal and external reporting, and collaboration of finance testing for system upgrades impacting Revenue accounting, etc.
Candidate must possess excellent spreadsheet design skills as well as the ability to create process documentation on existing and proposed processes which will include impact analysis and SOX control considerations (both IT and business related). The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can adapt to a changing (transforming) environment, who is naturally curious, drives tasks to completion and has a desire to make a real contribution to the future success of our company.
Your Impact
- Ensure that accruals, revenue and accounts receivable reserves and management estimates related to various key accounts are properly calculated and supported.
- Lead effort for Revenue team testing on system upgrades impacting related area
- Manage assigned aspects of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes and internal revenue reporting.
- Prepare and Review robust account reconciliations and account analysis processes.
- Provide management with accurate Revenue reporting and analysis to help key stakeholders understand business metrics.
- Lead the performance management, development and education of assigned team members.
- Develop efficiencies in reporting and processes to achieve shorten monthly/quarterly close goals.
- Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- (5) years of progressive accounting experience preferably in a mid to larger public company or public accounting.
- Experience to include 1 year of people leadership.
Additional Success Factors
- Advanced Excel skills – able to create and manipulate Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills.
- Oracle ERP experience.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley controls
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints.
- Experience driving automation and continuous process enhancements.
- Proficiency in the use of database tools and financial reporting packages
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships across teams and communicate both up and down the corporate hierarchy.
- Healthcare or Retail industry experience preferred
