Description:
- The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team in supporting the Creative Production organization. The Creative Production organization partners with content creators, creative agencies, and internal cross-functional teams to conceptualize, produce and deploy product and marketing campaigns for titles across all user interfaces, marketing channel placements and advertising channels.
- In this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is skillful in communicating with cross-functional partners who have different backgrounds, levels, and experiences. A successful candidate will be able to manage complex workflows that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams.
Duties:
- Global accounting for Creative Production and ensuring timely and accurate reporting for Creative Production components of our P&L, Balance Sheet and related commitments.
- Cross-functional interaction with Creative Production team, FP&A, Tax, Financial Applications, Finance Procurement Operations, Internal Audit.
- Review and documentation of Creative Production agreements, which includes interpreting contractual terms and understanding the application of our accounting policies.
- Create insightful close packages that summarize key business and accounting updates and present them to groups of managers and directors.
- Drive process improvement and contribute to exciting projects that achieve scalability and efficiency, system design, and core accounting framework and management reporting.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP; Public Accounting Foundation or CPA preferred
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented
- Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing and meeting multiple tight deadlines
- Excellent communicator who is comfortable collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Curious and enthusiastic, that’s not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
