RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher of science, a skilled user of technology and interactive pedagogy, an eager participant and collaborator in school life, as well as an educator committed to fostering positive relationships for learning and dedicated to our core principles of character, educational vigor, diversity, and community.
The teaching load will be five sections drawn from a range of physical science courses. In addition to becoming a member of our Science department, the successful candidate will serve as an advisor to a group of 8-10 advisees and take on additional responsibilities such as advising a club or serving on a committee.
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemistry Education is required, and a Master’s degree preferred.
- Ideal candidates will have at least three years of secondary school teaching experience.
