We are seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager to join our Cross-Channel Marketing (XCM) organization to lead marketing analytics for Amazon’s physical owned and operated marketing channels on packages and vans.
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager to lead the data acquisition, engineering, and programmatic insights to measure and scale these channels worldwide. This includes ownership of the measurement and optimization charter, setting and implementing the strategy for what we measure, and driving analytic insights to optimize these marketing products. Your work drives novel science that helps customers discover new Amazon services that are core to our org’s mission.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of our marketing analytics data architecture and visualization layers. You will work with business teams to translate business processes into a logical data design which can be built into measurement models, reports, and dashboards. If you are obsessed with dissecting business problems into digestible, technical solutions and enjoy working with technical peers to deliver business impact, this may be the role for you. You will drive the long-term vision for measuring and optimizing our owned and operated marketing channels through the development of vision documents (PRFAQs), definition of business requirements, launch, and post-launch measurement. You love partnering with scientists to develop new models and measurement capabilities. You work with your tech team to evolve your ideas and bring them to life, making all the tough tradeoffs along the way. Solving big, ambiguous problems gets you up the in the morning. Your core partners say you are the one who brings it all together and makes it happen. You’re known for your high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, deep understanding of the tech & the science, and ability to lead.
A day in the life
You help Amazon create the most measurably effective, creatively impactful, cross-channel campaigning capabilities to help customers discover more of what Amazon has to offer. Your customers are external – delighting Amazon customers who interact with these out of home channels on a daily basis. Internal users are critical too: your products help marketers and executives across Amazon to engage with customers, while balancing overall value for Amazon. You partner with science, engineering, insights, and operational stakeholders to uncover problems, get to know your customers, set a vision, define solutions, execute new deliveries, and measure your impact. You own it end-to-end, from ideation to requirements to go to market.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing complex technical analytic products in the marketing domain to understand technical design
- Demonstrated experience optimizing and scaling strategic initiatives through data and hands off the wheel models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple partner and senior leadership teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or advanced degree
- Background in data, measurement and science-based products
- Experience with Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, and/or other data visualization tools
- Experience in leading technical discussions and assisting teams in designing solutions
