Senior (Sr.) Manufacturing Supervisor Lam is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees. Lam’s Senior (Sr.) Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for developing and leading teams in a high tech production environment. Responsibilities include leading a team of supervisors, coordination and alignment of resources to meet Lam’s safety, production and organizational objectives. Supervisors are expected to demonstrate Lam’s core values through professional conduct and a dedication to honesty and integrity. In addition to safety and production objectives, Sr. Supervisors are responsible for employee development, employee performance, and corrective actions, as well as collaboration with leadership, engineers, vendors and customers. Strategic responsibilities include managing special projects, continuous improvement activities and organizational alignment to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Manage direct report staff, including – hourly, professional individual contributors (IC), and Manufacturing Supervisors. Complete direct report performance reviews, create development plans/activities and conduct regular one on ones. Manage employee performance by documenting, coaching and communicating desired behaviors and performance/development goals; work with organizational leaders and HR to suggest corrective action; assess annual performance. Manage flow of product through the production system and facilitates execution of the production plan. Manage launch capability, milestone progression and shipment risk assessment. Assign resources and activities based on production priorities, material availability, ship date, and personnel skill. Ensure process adherence, required documentation and performance to the production plan. Define and manage projects, continuous improvement activities and performance to KPIs. Address supply chain/logistics issues by following designated escalation paths. Collaborates with leadership team on organizational staffing as well as feedback and input regarding factory plans and workforce pulse. Perform interview activities in accordance with organizational staffing plan. Participate in Customer experience activities (tours, presentations and knowledge sharing) Safety. Exemplify Lam’s safety culture by demonstrating a Safety-First mindset. Manage safety performance and initiatives to align with organizational objectives. Investigate and document safety events utilizing EHS reporting system and working with EHS resources to develop mitigating/corrective actions. Addresses safety escalation and enforce company policy/expectations. Inspect and monitor work area by completing RMBWA’s (per organizational expectations/requirements). Ensure employee safety training requirements are met
Minimum Qualifications
Four+ years of manufacturing experience, Two+ years of supervisory experience , Able to work 5-day (8hrs), 4-day (10hrs) or compressed shift (3-4 day, 12 hour shifts) in a clean room environment wearing PPE (cleanroom suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear) . Proficiency with use of digital tools and database applications. Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience (Vocational, Military, etc) Four+ years of manufacturing experience. Two+ years of supervisory experience. Able to work 5-day (8hrs), 4-day (10hrs) or compressed shift (3-4 day, 12 hour shifts) in a clean room environment wearing PPE (cleanroom suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear) Proficiency with use of digital tools and database applications. Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak) Physical requirements include the ability to squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand, and reach outside neutral for over 50% of the time; ability to lift 35 pounds; able to distinguish colors.
