Job description: Summary
As an IF/RCO first line supervisor of Transportation and Material Moving Workers you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations providing logistics services required to complete movement and transportation of IF/RCO material and equipment that include receiving, shipping, packaging for transportation, inventorying, disposal, hazardous material certification and handling, maintenance, and determining serviceability of IF/RCO equipment at Government leased or owned facilities in OCONUS and IF/RCO locations stated in this task order, as well as existing PEO Missile and Space equipment located at the Huntsville distribution center.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervises onsite personnel
- Inventory management of equipment and property
- Receiving and inspecting physical condition of received shipments
- Equipment handling & warehouse storage of spare assets
- Packaging, Shipping, Shipping documentation and labeling
- Warranty coordination and routing support (repair & return)
- Demilitarization coordination and routing support
- Additional Logistics support activities as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)
- Data entry for multiple property control systems
- Other duties as assigned
- Manages transportation and movement planning and operations
- Plans, scheduled and supervising receiving, handling, storage, packaging for inventory
- Completes routine scheduled and unscheduled reports for input to contract deliverables, Internal reporting, and management.
- Maintains tracking end-item warranty status, and repair and return tracking
- Manage COLTS database (inventory management system)
- Facilitate DRMO actions
- Implement Supply Chain Risk Management and Counterfeit Prevention
- Develops and maintains work schedule for onsite personnel
- Ensures personnel receive proper training to complete required work assignments
- Enforce compliance workplace safety, DoD and Air Force Regulations governing the task order
- Participates and hosts internal/external Program Reviews
Required Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
Associate Degree with five (5) years of experience or six (6) years of relevant experience in logistics
License & Certifications:
- Driver’s License
- Forklift
Knowledge & Skills:
- Familiar with COLTS and DPAS interface
- Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
- Must be able to meet work environments
