The Vice President of Information Technology reports to the Chief Information Officer, and is located in Mansfield, MA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of IT Enterprise Technology is accountable for strategic leadership across all IT functions ensuring technology strategic plans are in place, innovation and continuous process opportunities are identified. Assisting the Chief Information Officer and the TriMark Technology Solutions (TTS) Leadership Team execute their technology strategies. This role works closely with other functions to direct the planning of both short and long-term systems strategies and disseminates information to facilitate transparency and visibility across TTS and the broader TriMark USA organization while providing service excellence. This role requires a results-oriented, hands-on and innovative leader with a solid track record of driving positive change and developing people.
The VP of IT Enterprise Technology will help ensure that appropriate information technology and process is applied in solving business problems and that information system processes, technology and capabilities enable the business decisions. They must have deep technical, architecture, and strategic thinking capabilities, while confidently interacting with executive stakeholders. Communication is key to success in this role with a demonstrated ability to influence technologists, cross-functional partners and management to impact decision making.
As a member of the TTS Leadership team, this leader will be critical to driving technological innovation throughout the organization, functioning as a consultant to technology and business leaders on implications of emerging technologies. This requires highly developed communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information understandably to a wide variety of executive and non-executive audiences. The ideal leader will also have a keen eye towards customer focus.
This role requires a “player/coach” executive with the adaptability to develop strategies front to back and remain extremely hands-on in leveraging innovative technologies. This leader must possess an appreciation for the industry domain and formulate technical strategy applicable to operations, as well as a B2B business model.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT.
- 5+ years building and executing a technology roadmap.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong end to end knowledge of B2B and B2C business models.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead through influence versus direct management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Role Specifics
- Document and drive strategic plans and execution for CIO as part of the CIO office
- Working with other functions, establish and set the overall TTS short and long-term strategy
- Provide organizational leadership and organizational intelligence that focuses on meeting customer expectation, all while stressing the application of a variety of principles, systems, and tools toward the sustainable improvement of key performance metrics, particularly in the areas of maturing our Agile practices.
- Assist CIO with the further establishment of centers of excellence and mature operating model
- Create and adapt roadmaps periodically as the business strategy and goals evolve to ensure ongoing alignment between the business strategy and the architecture and technology strategies.
